Çalışmalarını çok geniş bir alanda sürdüren Christopher Hogwood’un 1973 yılında kurduğu ve ilk dönem çalgıları topluluklarından Academy of Ancient Music’i festival izleyicileri önceki yıllardan hatırlayacaktır. Producing his works in a vast range of fields, maestro Christopher Hogwood founded the Academy of Ancient Music back in 1973, the first of many period music ensembles. AAM has participated in the festival earlier, as well. Performing works of Berlioz and Mendelssohn, the Academy of Ancient Music will stage an unforgettable concert that is a must to hear. And if you have already heard the ensemble playing, still you wouldn’t want to miss an opportunity to hear their great music, once again! Certainly to be one of the most unforgetable nights of June 2005.
