Theater an der Rott

Who doesn't know her, Alice, who dives into a dream world spun out of her own imagination.

There she meets, among other things, the white rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the mad hatter or the queen of hearts.

Once again, Alice is bored when suddenly a talking white rabbit appears, which Alice follows down the rabbit hole and into Wonderland. There she experiences a wide variety of adventures and learns a lot about herself and growing up. Because first she gets overwhelmed by the constant crazy events over which she has no control. But over time, she learns how to handle this strange world, through her own will and imagination.

"Alice in Wonderland" is considered one of the outstanding works from the genre of literary nonsense. Together with the sequel "Through the Looking-Glass", this children's book by Lewis Carroll is one of the classics of world literature. The narrative style and structure, the characters and the imagery continue to have great cultural influence.

As a family musical, Lewis Carroll's story experiences one, no, two world premieres at the Theater an der Rott. Because there is a separate version for schools for everyone from the age of 6, but in the evening we also look "Behind the mirror" and illuminate one or the other dark place in "Alice in Wonderland", then for the slightly older ones.
