The Elena Obraztsova Foundation presents the opera performance “Amadeus. Opera Laboratory" with the participation of graduates of the Youth Educational and Creative Project "Opera Class". The performance will include scenes from V.A. Mozart based on the libretto by L. da Ponte - "The Marriage of Figaro", "Don Giovanni" and "Everybody Does It So". The production in the genre of dramma giocoso (jolly drama) is based on musical and psychological studies connected by a common idea, which is revealed in the finale of the performance. The training program for the Youth educational and creative project "Opera Class" will be held in Moscow from October 25 to November 8. It includes vocal master classes with leading teachers from Russia and abroad, work with an accompanist, language coaching, orchestral rehearsals with the Musica Viva Moscow Chamber Orchestra , work with a director to create a stage image. Students of the Department of Scenography of the Russian Institute of Theater Arts (GITIS) will also take part in the project. According to their developments, costumes and scenery for the performance will be created. The Opera Class is part of the large international project of the Elena Obraztsova Foundation "Voices of Heritage" using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation provided by the Presidential Grants Foundation. The musical director of the project and the chief conductor is the world-famous opera singer, conductor Dmitry Korchak . The artistic director of the project is Ernesto Palacio , director of the Rossini Academy and Festival in Pesaro . The main vocal teacher is the head of the Youth Opera Program of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia Dmitry Vdovin . The director of the project is Sergey Shirokov , director of the Rossiya 1 TV channel, teacher at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music . The performance will be accompanied by the Moscow Chamber Orchestra Musica Viva
