Oratorium
Trained at the great piano school of Maria Tipo, Andrea Lucchesinihe gained international attention at a very young age, with the victory of the "Dino Ciani" International Competition at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. Since then he has played all over the world with prestigious orchestras and the greatest conductors, arousing the enthusiasm of the public for the combination of solidity of formal structure in his performances, extreme attention to sound, timbre refinement and natural communication skills. Convinced that the transmission of musical knowledge to the younger generations is a moral duty, Lucchesini is also passionately dedicated to teaching, currently at the Fiesole Music School, of which he was artistic director until 2016. He holds frequent masterclasses at important Italian and European musical institutions, including the Mozarteum in Salzburg, and since 2008 he has been an Academician of S. Cecilia. In 2017 he created the artistic project fff Fortissimissimo Firenze Festival for the Friends of Music of Florence, with the aim of giving space to young Italian talents. In the same year he was appointed artistic director of the Roman Philharmonic Academy. Gennaro Cardaropoli (1997) is considered one of the best young Italian talents of today. His recording debut with Warner Classics is in 2019, paired with pianist Alberto Ferro. He has given concerts, among others, at the Grand Théâtre de Monte Carlo, Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid, Musikverein in Vienna, Philharmonie in Paris, Carnegie Hall, Philadelphia Concert Hall, Washington Lincoln Center. He has received numerous awards, including 1st Grand Prize at the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition, 1st Prize at the National Arts Prize, 1st Prize at the Claudio Abbado Competition, 1st Grand Prize at the Stockholm Violin Competition. He graduated at the age of 15 from the Avellino Conservatory and perfected himself with V. Brodsky, S. Accardo, B. Belkin, Z. Bron and S. Mintz. He graduated from the Conservatory of Italian Switzerland with Pavel Berman and is currently studying with Silvia Marcovici. Since 2019 it has been supported by the "Musica con le Ali" Association. He teaches at the Bergamo Conservatory and plays a Pietro Guarneri, Venice 1735 violin, ex Francisco Costa, courtesy of the Pro Canale Foundation. Luca Giovannini (2000) graduated with Luca Simoncini at the Rovigo Conservatory. Among the numerous awards obtained, he won the J. Brahms Competition (Austria), TIM (Paris), Grand Prize (Salzburg), Rising Stars (Berlin), the Second Prize at the Janigro International Young Competition and the Third Prize at Alice & Eleonora Schoenfeld International String Competition Harbin. He has been selected for Seiji Ozawa Academy for the 2020-21 year. He perfected himself with musicians such as, among others, M. Brunello, B. Canino, L. Harrell, D. Geringas, D. Rossi, E. Dindo, G. Kremer, A. Schiff, G. Hoffman, A. Tamestit, S. Isserlis. He has performed, among others, for the "Verdi Talenti" season in Busseto, at the Brahms Saal of the Musikverein in Vienna, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Carnegie Hall, Opera House Harbin, Philharmonic Theater in Berlin, Mozarteum in Salzburg, Sale Apollinee in the La Fenice Theater. He was a member of the Cello “Excellence” class with G. Capuçon at the Louis Vuitton Foundation in Paris, and of the “R. Romanini” in Brescia with G. Sollima. He is currently studying at the Kronberg Academy in Frankfurt under the guidance of F. Helmerson.
