With the live streamed concert by ensemble member Jonathan Abernethy and Anna Dowsley, we continue our series with singer pairs. The two singers, who were born in Australia and New Zealand, met in 2014 at the Young Artist Program at Opera Australia in Sydney, and their respective careers have now taken them to Europe: while the mezzo-soprano Anna Dowsley, after numerous major roles at Opera Australia, is in this Since last season, the tenor Jonathan Abernethy has been convincing in several roles at the Frankfurt Opera. In the upcoming online concert, the two songs, duets and arias by Schubert, Tchaikovsky and Offenbach, among others, as well as the final scene from Massenet's opera "Werther" will be presented.
