‎What if the life of Christ was held in three concerts, with the sublime music of Bach? This is Raphaël Pichon's artistic challenge, which infuses his troops with the crazy energy of chaining three days of masterpieces. First of all the Nativity, with the exuberant Christmas Oratorio where the joyful calls of the Shepherds resound in the night of the divine child. Then the Passion, in the poignant account of St. John that Bach renders with confounding evidence, and an urgency that comes to stop only pain. Finally, the Resurrection with the vigor of the Easter Oratorio, and the Oratorio of the Ascension which closes in sumptuousness the earthly life of Christ.
