Philharmonia musicians perform compositions by GCSE and A-Level students from across Bedford secondary schools.

As part of the Philharmonia’s ongoing partnership with Bedford Music Hub, our musicians have been working closely with students and staff from local schools. They’ll be giving the premiere of pieces by students and teachers at our Composition Showcase.

The evening offers the opportunity to reward the hard work the students have put in to create their compositions as part of their studies, and receive feedback and encouragement from a panel of composers and musicians.

Bedford Music Hub are delighted to be working in partnership with the Philharmonia Orchestra to share the incredible talent in our local schools.

10 young composers will have their original compositions performed live by world-class players from the orchestra and receive feedback from a panel of experienced composers.
