Hardly any other work is more suitable for festive occasions than Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, with its jubilant vision of a better world. After the Berliner Philharmoniker enjoyed success in Berlin and on tour with Beethoven's symphonies, they presented the pinnacle of the cycle at the Easter Festival in Baden-Baden.
