Karina Canellakis is one of the revelations of
these last months. Principal Conductor of the Orchester Philharmonique de la
Netherlands Radio, main guest conductor
of the Radio Symphony Orchestra of
Berlin, she opened the BBC Proms
in London last year.
It is all haloed by these European successes
that the young American, now settled
in Amsterdam, performs for the first time
time in Saint-Denis at the head of the Orchestra
Philharmonic of Radio France and
Choir of Radio France in a program
sacred: the very beautiful and intense Sinfonia da
Requiem for orchestra by Britten composed
in memory of his parents and the superb Mass
in C by Beethoven bringing together a quartet of
exceptional soloists.

Karina Canellakis est l’une des révélations de
ces derniers mois. Cheff e d’orchestre principale de l’Orchestre Philharmonique de la
Radio des Pays-Bas, principale cheff e invitée
de l’Orchestre Symphonique de la Radio de
Berlin, elle a fait l’ouverture des BBC Prom’s
à Londres l’an passé.
C’est toute auréolée de ces succès européens
que la jeune américaine, installée désormais
à Amsterdam, se produit pour la première
fois à Saint-Denis à la tête de l’Orchestre
Philharmonique de Radio France et du
Chœur de Radio France dans un programme
sacré : la très belle et intense Sinfonia da
Requiem pour orchestre de Britten composée

en Ut de Beethoven réunissant un quatuor de
