The attractive gypsy Carmen, a swarmed, self-confident woman, meets in Seville in the soldier Don José a man who falls for her hopelessly, but also narrows her through his love. In the conflict between her freedom and this love, she chooses freedom - with fatal consequences.

The adapted meets Carmen, whom he initially ignores. But this unleashes Carmen's passion and she tries everything to seduce the young soldier. José is fascinated by this mysterious and powerful woman who simply takes what she wants. He falls for her more and more, and finally gives up everything for her, his childhood sweetheart Micaela, his service in the military, Carmen's sake, he even joins a gang of smugglers. But Carmen soon turns away from him, she has another eye on another. When José realizes that his love, which is more like an obsession, is hopeless, he commits a terrible act in the affect.

“Carmen” fascinates us to this day, her clinging to her greatest good, her freedom. She would never submit to the pressures of society. Like no other piece, “Carmen” offers the opportunity for exciting visual and entertaining open-air theater.
