Since Christmas is the time that wishes come true, that will be true as well at this “Wish List Concert” for the whole family, conducted by Gürzenich’s Kapellmeister François-Xavier Roth. The audience determines what’s on the programme. Here’s how it works: select three musical pieces (wish list as PDF) and one Christmas carol from the opposite titles, and send your selections to wunschzettel@guerzenich-orchester.de by 31 Oct. 2022. Those pieces that are wished for most frequently will be played at the concert. The high point will be the performance of a well-known Christmas chorus where you are welcome to sing along! If you send us your own wish list story, one you have experienced yourself or a fictional one you’ve made up, you could also win a special surprise.
