Saturday August 17 another great Tall Ships event taking place at the Grovedale. Tickets are only $25 and include: Appetizers from some of Kingsville Best Restaurants, local Beer/Wine the Abridged Opera presentation of Flying Dutchmen and Hand Carved Tall Ships Display by Mike Laforet. Abridged Opera’s abridged production of The Flying Dutchman features professional artists from all over Ontario! Performers include, Michael Broder (Toronto), Naomi Eberhard (Ottawa), Robert Martin (Toronto) and Alyssa Epp (Leamington) with direction by Erika Downie (Guelph). Not only will The Flying Dutchman feature many amazing vocalists, it will also feature a three-piece band under the supervision of Windsor Symphony’s, Daniel Wiley. Claire Harris (Toronto) will be leading the ensemble on piano, a Wayne State Graduate student, Austin Di Pietro on trumpet and University of Windsor student, Mackenzie Walsh on trombone. Production coordinator, Kaitlyn Karns and producer, Erin Armstrong are very excited to present to you The Flying Dutchman in collaboration with Kingsville’s Tall Ships Festival.
