A great story about love, betrayal, the pursuit of justice and revenge...
For the first time on the stage of the Lithuanian theater - a musical version of the famous novel "The Count of Montecristos" by Alexander Dumas, presented by composer Frank Wildhorn and playwright Jack Murphy.
...He was betrayed by everyone he thought was his friend. He took away his only love, tarnished his honorable name and imprisoned him in Ifo Castle for the rest of his life. However, jealousy and anger celebrated the victory too soon. After thirteen years of captivity, the Angel of Vengeance, freed during an incredible escape, did not rest until he punished his abusers...
It is not surprising that this popular work that intrigued the imagination of readers in the second century did not escape the eyes of artists - many different adaptations of "The Count of Monte Cristo", especially film versions, were created and are still being created. But in the world practice of musical works, hardly one other. Among them is a musical created by the American composer F. Wildhorn, who works on Broadway.

The role of the Count of Montecristo in the musical was created by three very different performers in terms of vocal school, voice timbre, and acting experience, with different psychophysics. The director left them considerable freedom of interpretation, so Jeronimos Miliaus, Raimonds Baranauskas and Ramūnas Urbietis Count Montecristos are painted in different colors.  
He plays the role of his beloved - MercedesKarina Krysko  and theater soloist Kristina Siurbytė.

The performance takes place as if in one breath, as the producers skilfully vary the musical style, creating a wide palette of emotions, highlighting the tragic and sometimes comical situations of the performance. The impression is strengthened by the contemporary modern technologies used in the scenography, which provides liveliness and unfathomable depth.
In a mesmerizing two-part performance, almost 80 singing and dancing artists created almost 40 characters. More than 90 pairs of shoes and 230 suits were made for them, which required close to 2000 meters of different types of fabrics. Many artists will change their clothes here several times. During the performance, the stage floor is weighed down by a combination of decorations weighing one and a half tons. Ingenious video projections create an almost 3D effect. Luxurious, stylized costumes of the 19th century are complemented by kilograms of Swarovski crystals, many other spectacular costume accessories - expensive jewelry, belts, parties, embroidery, masks. And where else are the various pyrotechnic focuses!

Didinga istorija apie meilę, išdavystę, teisingumo siekį ir kerštą...
Pirmą kartą Lietuvos teatro scenoje – muzikinė žymiojo Aleksandro Diuma (Alexander Dumas) romano „Grafas Montekristas“ versija, kurią pateikė kompozitorius Frank Wildhorn ir dramaturgas Jack Murphy.
...Jį išdavė visi, kuriuos manė esant savo draugais. Iš jo atėmė vienintelę meilę, suteršė garbingą vardą ir iki gyvenimo pabaigos įkalino Ifo pilyje. Tačiau pavydas ir pyktis pergalę šventė per anksti.​ Po trylikos nelaisvės metų neįtikėtino pabėgimo metu išlaisvintas Keršto Angelas nenurimo tol, kol nenubaudė savo skriaudėjų...
Nenuostabu, kad šis populiarus ir antrą šimtmetį skaitytojų vaizduotę intriguojantis kūrinys nepraslydo pro menininkų akis - sukurta ir vis dar kuriama daugybė įvairių „Grafo Montekristo“ adaptacijų, ypač kino versijų. Tačiau muzikinių veikalų pasaulinėje praktikoje vos vienas kitas. Tarp jų – ir Brodvėjuje dirbančio amerikiečių kompozitoriaus F. Wildhorn sukurtas miuziklas.

Grafo Montekristo vaidmenį miuzikle sukūrė trys labai skirtingi tiek vokalo mokykla, tiek balso tembru, tiek aktorine patirtimi, skirtingos psichofizikos atlikėjai. Jiems režisierius paliko nemenką interpretacijos laisvę, todėl Jeronimo Miliaus, Raimondo Baranausko ir Ramūno Urbiečio grafas Montekristas yra piešiamas skirtingomis spalvomis.  
Jo mylimosios – Mersedesos – vaidmenį atlieka Karina Krysko ir teatro solistė Kristina Siurbytė.

Spektaklis vyksta tarsi vienu kvėptelėjimu, nes statytojai sumaniai varijuoja muzikine stilistika, kuria plačios paletės emociją, išryškinančia tragiškas, o kartkartėm ir komiškas spektaklio situacijas. Įspūdį stiprina gyvumo bei neaprėpiamo gilumo teikiančios scenografijoje taikomos šiuolaikinės moderniosios technologijos.
Užburiančiame dviejų dalių spektaklyje beveik 80 dainuojančių ir šokančių artistų sukūrė beveik 40 personažų. Jiems pasiūta daugiau nei 90 porų avalynės ir 230 kostiumų, kuriems prireikė arti 2000 metrų skirtingos rūšies audinių. Daugelis artistų čia persirengs po kelis kartus. Spektaklio metu scenos grindis slegia pusantros tonos svorio dekoracijų kombinacija. Išradingos vaizdo projekcijos kuria beveik 3D efektą. Prabangius, stilizuotus 19 amžiaus kostiumus papildo kilogramai svarovskio kristalų, daugybė kitų efektingų kostiumų aksesuarų – brangių papuošalų, diržų, šalių, siuvinių, kaukių. O kur dar įvairiausi pirotechnikos fokusai!
