After a sold-out lunchtime concert performance last year at Queen’s House in Greenwich, Opera Asteria have revived their production of Purcell's Dido & Aeneas, this time for two semi-staged evening performances at Queen’s House and one at St John’s Church in Catford, accompanied by harpsichord and string quartet.

Founded in 2021, Opera Asteria intends to present opera works with female storytelling and representation in mind with the belief that this will aid the continuing diversification of the stories on which we focus in the arts.
