And this is not surprising, because The Bat, created in 1996 by director Dmitry Bertman and the outstanding musician Mstislav Rostropovich, is dearly loved by the Moscow public and each time causes delight and stormy applause. Amazing and light music, a playful plot, excellent acting and festive pranks - all this is in the "Flyer", as the Helikonians themselves affectionately call it. Only on the "Bat" in "Helikon" you can have fun with the heroes of the Strauss operetta, treat yourself to champagne, and then vodka with cucumber and meet theater stars, cinema and stage at the Ball at Prince Orlovsky! Who is invited as the main guest remains a mystery until the very performance - that's what surprises are for ... We offer a recording of the performance made on December 27, 2017 as part of the OPERA XXI project. The project was implemented by the theater "Helikon-Opera", "Radio of Russia", Radio "Culture" and the social network Odnoklassniki. The shooting was carried out by the TV channel "Russia-K".
