Qui ne connaît l’histoire de Don Quichotte, le chef d’œuvre de Cervantès ? Strauss s’en est inspiré pour composer en 1897 un poème symphonique où les instruments incarnent les personnages de l’histoire. Léa Hennino et Yan Levionnois ont adapté ce poème pour les enfants (et leurs parents bien sûr !). Interprétées par Xavier Phillips au violoncelle, un ensemble d’instrumentistes et le comédien Elliot Jenicot, les aventures du célèbre chevalier errant sont illustrées en fond de scène, par les très belles encres de Cécile Pruvot.

Who doesn't know the story of Don Quixote , Cervantes' masterpiece? Strauss was inspired by it to compose a symphonic poem in 1897 where the instruments embody the characters of the story. Léa Hennino and Yan Levionnois adapted this poem for children (and their parents of course!). Performed by Xavier Phillips on cello, an ensemble of instrumentalists and the actor Elliot Jenicot, the adventures of the famous knight-errant are illustrated in the background, by the very beautiful inks of Cécile Pruvot.
