When global success comes home in the truest sense of the word! The most successful German-language musical by Sylvester Levay and Michael Kunze will, 30 years after its premiere, be played in a concert version in the main courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace, at the original location. Musical star and audience favorite Maya Hakvoort takes on the title role of the rebellious empress. Luigi Lucheni (David Jakobs) is known to have assassinated Elisabeth, but it is her son Rudolf (Lukas Perman) who is the first to follow Death (Mark Seibert).
