"Enkhe-Bulat bator" is the first work of professional art of Buryatia, part of the cultural heritage of the Buryat people. The plot of the opera is based on an old folk tale about Shono-Bator. The opera was created in the late 30s of the last century. For the first time "Enkhe-Bulat Bator" was shown at the decade of Buryat-Mongolian art in Moscow in 1940, and this premiere show was recognized as "a true triumph of the Buryat-Mongolian artists" (Buryat-Mongolskaya Pravda, 1940, October 21).  

The modern production of the opera Enkhe-Bulat Bator was directed by Oleg Yumov, multiple nominee for the Golden Mask National Theater Award, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Buryatia; production designer Maria Volskaya - nominee for the National Theater Award of Russia "Golden Mask"; People's Artist of Russia Darima Linkhovoin.

«Энхэ-Булат батор» является первым произведением профессионального искусства Бурятии, частью культурного наследия бурятского народа. В основе сюжета оперы лежит старинное народное сказание о Шоно-баторе. Опера была создана в конце 30-х годов прошлого столетия. Впервые «Энхэ-Булат батор» показали на декаде бурят-монгольского искусства в Москве в 1940-м году, и этот премьерный показ был признан «подлинным триумфом бурят-монгольских артистов» (Бурят-Монгольская правда, 1940, 21 октября).  

Над современной постановкой оперы «Энхэ-Булат батор» работали режиссер Олег Юмов — многократный номинант Национальной театральной премии «Золотая маска», лауреат Государственной премии Республики Бурятия; художник-постановщик Мария Вольская – номинант Национальной театральной премии России «Золотая Маска»; народная артистка России Дарима Линховоин.
