The opera loft version of Gounod's Faust concentrates entirely on the three protagonists Margarethe, Faust and Mephisto. Regardless of the losses, the three struggle for love, money and power. Will they finally realize what really matters in life? And can their friendship last?

Gounod contrasts Goethe's well-known template with his intoxicatingly sensual composition and places Margarethe's fate at the center of the plot.
