Ölfässer, Wasserflaschen, Kanister - in John Psathas’ Percussionkonzert "Leviathan" rund um die Themen Wasser und Klimawandel heißt es: Upcycling! Müll aus dem Meer erhält eine ganz neue Funktion, wenn Alexej Gerassimez die Schrottobjekte kurzerhand als Percussioninstrumente nutzt. Abgerundet wird das Programm in der unweit der Peene gelegenen Haferscheune in Stolpe von Tōru Takemitsus Towards the Sea sowie Werken von Ravel.

Alexej Gerassimez presents: "Am Wasser - Upcycling Music", a concert on sustainability with the NDR Radiophilharmonie conducted by Fabien Gabel.

Oil drums, water bottles, canisters - in John Psathas' percussion concert "Leviathan" on the topics of water and climate change, the motto is: Upcycling! Garbage from the sea takes on a whole new function when Alexej Gerassimez uses the junk objects as percussion instruments. The program in the Haferscheune in Stolpe, not far from the Peene, is rounded off by Tōru Takemitsu's Towards the Sea and works by Ravel.
