The great René Jacobs is back in Ambronay accompanied by one of the best baroque ensembles in Europe: the Orchester Baroque de Fribourg. Accustomed to the most virtuoso performances, the orchestra performs under the direction of the legendary Belgian conductor two cantatas written by the young Handel during his stay in Italy. The talented Ukrainian soprano Kateryna Kasper sublimates the hectic vocals of Il Delirio amoroso before being joined by bass-baritone Yannick Debus to tell us about the adventures of Apollo and Daphne.
