For the first time, a Vivalidopera is performed on stage in Sweden. We invite you to a baroque fairy tale adventure for adults which in our staging takes place at an 18th century court. 
Il Giustino at Drottningholms Slottsteater is a time travel in three acts with several historical bottoms, where the theater house plays the real main role. The director has taken inspiration from reality and the 18th century court life that revolves around Gustav III and Drottningholm. 
The audience will hear some of Vivaldi's foremost compositions. The music brings out the broad emotional register that is contained in the plot; anger, worry, hatred and love are conveyed with the help of the Drottningholmsteatern's orchestra.
Drottningholms Slottsteater's fantastic machinery will be used, and the performance offers magnificent visual effects and magnificent costumes.

Il Giustino på Drottningholms Slottsteater är en tidsresa i tre akter med flera historiska bottnar, där teaterhuset spelar den verkliga huvudrollen. Regissören har hämtat inspiration från verkligheten och 1700-talets hovliv som kretsar kring Gustav III och Drottningholm. 
Publiken kommer att få höra några av Vivaldis allra främsta kompositioner. Musiken tar fram det breda känsloregister som ryms i handlingen; ilska, oro, hat och kärlek förmedlas med hjälp av Drottningholmsteaterns orkester. 
Drottningholms Slottsteaters fantastiska maskineri kommer att användas, och föreställningen bjuder på magnifika visuella effekter och storartade kostymer.
