London, 19th century. The doctor, Dr. Jekyll, is obsessively researching to prove his theory empirically - all that is needed is a human experiment.

The question is elementary: Is it possible to eliminate the evil inherent in man by the administration of a serum by medical methods? Success would be a real breakthrough, it could even bring about world peace. However, the competent authorities fear the consequences and reject the action to carry out the experiment; Jekyll's enthusiasm is reckless madness in their eyes.
The medic, on the other hand, will not allow himself to be deterred from his purpose, the healing of mankind. He believes in the truth with deep conviction and ultimately decides to conduct the experiment on his own - but the outcome has unexpected side effects…
