A world singing star, Marie-Nicole Lemieux has established a special bond with the Orchestra, which recently materialized with the release of the album Mers (2018), the interpretation of Chant de la Terre à Bordeaux and the a remarkable performance during an operatic concert dedicated to bel canto alongside Joyce El-Khouri (2021). The Canadian contralto shares the bill with young Estonian conductor Anu Tali recently described by the Herald Tribune as “charismatic, brilliant and energetic”. The concert will open with The Weight of Unlived Lives by Estonian composer Erkki-Sven Tüür, a score performed for the first time in France.
