Mozart's stunning Requiem is tackled by the Southbank Sinfonia, in a unique collaboration with the Purcell Singers. The composer wrote the piece close to his own death, for a comission by a mysterious, anonymous benefactor, leading his wife Constanze to believe he may have been writing it for his own funeral.
