"Half a page of Ferenc Liszt's score is outweighed by all the operettas I have written and not yet written." With his first operetta, Autumn Maneuvers (1909), Kálmán proved that he was an extremely talented operetta composer, and his subsequent works only confirmed this fact. As a pioneer, he was insurmountable - beautiful and incendiary melodies fell like a sleeve. During the walk, he suddenly stopped to write down some snippets of his head. The same thing happened to countless relatives during an extensive lunch, when the composer suddenly grabbed a napkin to scribble the notes. "Gypsy Primas" (1912), "Princess of Chardashiv" or "Silva" (1915), "Carnival Fairy" (1917), "Bajadeer" (1921),

Fate, however, chased Kálmán and put him to the test. Maybe that's why his most fun operettas sound so tragic. The two-part concert production tells the story of Imre Kálmán's life, work and love, in which the musical stories certainly offer a pleasant joy of recognition. Starring Imre Kálmán as Jaak Jõekallas and his wife Vera as Helgi Sallo. In other parts Janne Ševtšenko, Helen Lokuta, Heli Veskus, Kristel Pärtna, Kristina Vähi, Juuli Lill, Triin Ella, Rauno Elp, René Soom, Urmas Põldma, Mehis Tiits and others.
