V Rudolfinu nás čeká obnovená premiéra světově proslulého a mnoha cenami ověn­čeného pohádkového filmu fenomenálního výtvarníka, spisovatele, scenáristy a režiséra Jiřího Trnky „Sen noci svatojánské“ s živým doprovodem SOČRu a Dětského pěveckého sboru Českého rozhlasu pod taktovkou dirigenta Jana Kučery. Poetický Kainarův text na motivy slavné klasiky Williama Shakespeara v podání herce Petra Štěpánka umocní kouzelnou atmosféru celého díla a vnese do hudby jasné obrysy. Mluvené slovo, které se krásně snoubí s nádhernou hudbou Václava Trojana, a dodá tak nesmrtelnému a stále svěžímu Trnkovu mistrovskému dílu další okouzlující dimenzi.

The Rudolfinum will host a renewed premiere of the world-famous and award-winning fairy tale film by the phenomenal artist, writer, screenwriter and director Jiří Trnka "A Midsummer Night's Dream" with live accompaniment by the Czech Radio Children's Choir under the baton of conductor Jan Kučera. Kainar's poetic text based on William Shakespeare's famous classic, performed by actor Petr Štěpánek, will enhance the magical atmosphere of the entire work and bring clear contours to the music. The spoken word, which blends beautifully with the wonderful music of Václav Trojan, will add another enchanting dimension to Trnka's immortal and still fresh masterpiece.
