AND THE ART-PETERSBURG CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
The concert of laureates and diploma holders of the X International Opera Singing Competition "St. Petersburg" is held as part of a joint event between NOVAT and the ART-PETERSBURG Charitable Foundation.

The international competition "St. Petersburg" has an almost 20-year history of existence. At one time, People's Artist of the USSR Irina Bogacheva, a star of the opera stage, a world-famous singer, initiated this creative competition in the city on the Neva. The competition is unique in that it provides many young vocalists with employment opportunities on world opera stages - in addition to competing in competitive rounds, vocalists take part in auditions before the Musical Board, which includes representatives of musical theaters around the world.

The tenth anniversary competition is dedicated to the memory of its founder Irina Bogacheva. The jury included world-famous musicians: Sergei Leiferkus, Vladimir Vaneev, Teimuraz Gugushvili, Carmen de Miguel, Olesya Petrova, Boris Pinkhasovich, Dmitry Yurovsky.

The concert cycle “NOVAT Lights the Stars” will feature laureates and diploma winners of the X International Competition “St. Petersburg”, accompanied by the theater’s symphony orchestra conducted by Dmitry Yurovsky. The concert program will feature arias and duets from domestic and foreign operas: “The Tsar’s Bride”, “Eugene Onegin”, “The Queen of Spades”, “The Magic Flute”, “Lucia di Lammermoor”, “Aida”, “Turandot”, “Pagliacci” , “Rural Honor”, ​​“Tosca”.
