Beethoven’ın piyano eserlerinin en yetkin yorumcularından usta piyanist Stephen Kovacevich ile Akbank Oda Orkestrası’nın yaratıcı ve dinamik şefi Cem Mansur festival izleyicisiyle buluşuyor. Festivalin çağdaş müzik repertuarını zenginleştirme çabaları doğrultusunda günümüzün yaşayan en önemli bestecilerinden İlhan Usmanbaş’a verdiği yeni eser siparişinin dünya prömiyeri bu konserde gerçekleşecek. Bugüne kadar bestelediği 90’ı aşkın eserle, 90. yaşını kutlayacak olan İlhan Usmanbaş’tan Beethoven’a, Corigliano’ya ve bu yıl 200. doğum yılını kutladığımız döneminin en yenilikçi ve “protest” bestecilerinden Liszt’in eserlerine uzanan, hafızalardan kolay kolay silinmeyecek bir konser gecesinde buluşmaya ne dersiniz?

The young and energetic Akbank Chamber Orchestra will perform with Stephen Kovacevich the leading interpreter of Beethoven under the baton of the creative conductor Cem Mansur. The orchestra will also present the world premiére of the new work commissioned by the Istanbul Music Festival, by İlhan Usmanbaş, who will celebrate his 90th birthday this year.
