One of the most original cinema hits of all time returns: the first part of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series, which has been conquering concert halls in recent years, can be experienced again in February at the KKL Luzern. Jack Sparrow's eccentric-charismatic appearance as the pirate captain - unsurpassed in his portrayal by Johnny Depp - has given Disney one of its greatest cinema successes. A film spectacle, whose adventure character was perfectly staged by the two film music composers Klaus Badelt and Hans Zimmer and their unerring sense for the right sound.


It's clear: without the right music, everything would be only half as beautiful. The original soundtrack is reduced by the music - because this time it comes live. A feast for all Jack Sparrow fans, made possible by clever technology, big screen and a fantastic orchestra that has been tried and tested in film music many times. While the concert hall is transformed into Lucerne's largest movie theater, the musicians of the 21st Century Orchestra mutate into swashbuckling adventurers - led by "Captain" Ludwig Wicki at the conductor's podium, who will steer his orchestral ship with full commitment.

Einer der originellsten Kinohits aller Zeiten kehrt zurück: Der erste Teil der «Pirates of the Caribbean» -Reihe, die in den vergangenen Jahren die Konzertsäle eroberte, ist im Februar erneut im KKL Luzern zu erleben. Jack Sparrows exzentrisch-charismatische Erscheinung als Piratenkapitän – unübertroffen dargestellt von Johnny Depp – hat dem Hause Disney einen der grössten Kinoerfolge beschert. Ein Filmspektakel, dessen Abenteuercharakter von den beiden Filmmusikkomponisten Klaus Badelt und Hans Zimmer und ihrem untrüglichen Gespür für den richtigen Sound perfekt in Szene gesetzt wurde. 

Ganz klar: Ohne die passende Musik wäre alles nur halb so schön. Die Original-Tonspur ist reduziert um die Musik – denn die kommt diesmal live. Ein Fest für alle Jack-Sparrow-Fans, möglich gemacht durch ausgeklügelte Technik, Grossbildleinwand und ein fantastisches, vielfach Filmmusik-erprobtes Orchester. Während sich der Konzertsaal in den grössten Kinosaal Luzerns verwandelt, mutieren die Musikerinnen und Musiker des 21st Century Orchestras zu verwegenen Abenteurern – angeführt von «Kapitän» Ludwig Wicki am Dirigentenpult, der sein orchestrales Schiff mit vollem Einsatz lenken wird.
