The story about Snow White was born a long time ago, no one even knows when. There are many variants of the story about Snow White and, retelling this magical story to children, poets and storytellers are sure to fantasize, telling it in their own way. And from this the fairy tale becomes more and more new and interesting, you want to watch and listen to it again, because its characters are kind, fair and know how to laugh.

Almost 300 years ago, in their own way, the fairy tale about Snow White was told by the Brothers Grimm. Their story about Snow White was published in 1812, when the boy Sasha Pushkin was 13 years old. And maybe he read this tale. And two decades later, the great Russian poet Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin told the story of Snow White in his own way - this is how the Tale of the Dead Princess and the Seven Bogatyrs was born. Around the same time, Alexander Dumas, who created the famous novels The Count of Monte Cristo and The Three Musketeers, wrote, also in his own way, Snow White. Already in the twentieth century, the most beautiful cartoon of 1938 by the famous animator Walt Disney entered the history of art. And ballet connoisseurs appreciate the magical performance of the outstanding domestic choreographer Genrikh Mayorov, staged in 1975 at the Bolshoi Theater, and then transferred to many stages of the world.

Another version of the fairy tale about Snow White was a play for children by Lev Ustinov and Oleg Tabakov, written for a production at the Sovremennik Theater. A few years after its premiere, this play became the basis of a musical comedy based on a libretto by the poet Sergei Bogomazov and music by Eduard Kolmanovsky. This fairy-tale operetta "Snow White" was created with the participation of Natalia Sats, especially for her theater. And the main thing in it is the surprisingly radiant and bright music of the famous songwriter Eduard Kolmanovsky. "Snow White" has become one of his most famous works and one of the most beloved performances of our theater.
