Nothing can withstand the power of true love. Forbidden romance combines with shimmering melodies in this moving tale of Lucia of Lammermoor.  Caught between her controlling family and the man she loves, this young Scottish woman has been pushed to the brink of madness by her brother’s meddling actions.   Finally, she takes matters into her own hands with deadly results.

Donizetti’s masterpiece sparkles with glorious soaring vocal lines while it thrills with dramatic tension.
