Libretto musicalu My Fair Lady, będącego jednym z największych światowych sukcesów tego gatunku, powstało na podstawie dramatu Georga Bernarda Shawa, tekstu, który z perspektywy lat może być przyrównywany do Pretty Woman – kinowego hitu z lat 90. poprzedniego stulecia, z Julią Roberts w roli głównej. Od czasu swojej premiery w 1956 roku, musical święci triumfy i bije rekordy popularności na scenach teatrów całego świata. Dodatkowo spopularyzowała go wersja filmowa, nagrodzona ośmioma Oscarami, z Audrey Hepburn i Rexem Harrisonem w rolach głównych.

It's a story about dreams coming true, about how anyone's fate can change for the better. The libretto of the musical "My Fair Lady", one of the greatest worldwide successes of its genre, was based on George Bernard Shaw's play, a text that can be likened to "Pretty Woman," a cinematic hit from the 1990s starring Julia Roberts, from today's perspective. Since its premiere in 1956, the musical has been triumphant and has broken popularity records on stages worldwide. Additionally, it was popularized by the film version, which won eight Oscars, starring Audrey Hepburn and Rex Harrison.
 
"My Fair Lady" is not only a gripping, humorous, and full of surprising plot twists.
