Humperdinckova Perníková chalúpka je skvelou adaptáciou známej rozprávky o Jankovi a Marienke. Veľký orchester intonuje detské pesničky, bravúrna inštrumentácia obaľuje chytľavé melódie a napriek tomu je zachovaná prehľadnosť ľudovej piesne a farebná rozprávková atmosféra. Perníková chalúpka vznikla pôvodne ako dielko pre uzavretý rodinný kruh a napokon sa stala radosťou pre celý svet.

Humperdinck's The Gingerbread House is a great adaptation of the well-known fairy tale about Hansel and Gretel. A large orchestra performs the children's songs, brilliant instrumentation embraces the catchy melodies, and yet the clarity of the folk song and the colourful fairy-tale atmosphere is preserved. The Gingerbread House was originally created as a masterpiece for a closed family circle and eventually became a delight for the whole world.

Humperdincks Hänsel und Gretel ist eine wundervolle Adaption des berühmten Märchens von Hänsel und Gretel. Das große Orchester intoniert Kinderlieder, die bravouröse Instrumentierung umhüllt die eingängigen Melodien und trotz dessen bleiben die Übersichtlichkeit des Volksliedes sowie die bunte Märchenatmosphäre erhalten. Hänsel und Gretel entstand ursprünglich als kleines Werk für einen geschlossenen Familienkreis und macht schließlich der ganzen Welt Freude.
