Interrupted by the very death of its author, Mozart's Requiem is surrounded by a
mystery that nourishes our fascination. In
the Basilica of Saint-Denis, he still takes
a new dimension.
After a memorable Second Symphony
of Mahler in 2014, the musical director of
Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, James
Gaffi gan returns to the Festival with this other
emblematic work, at the head of the Orchester National de France, the Chœur de
Radio France, and a solo vocal quartet
high flight. To close this edition, a
new reading of these sublime pages.

Interrompu par la mort-même de son auteur, le Requiem de Mozart est entouré d’un
mystère qui nourrit notre fascination. Dans
la Basilique de Saint-Denis, il prend encore
une nouvelle dimension.
Après une mémorable Deuxième Symphonie
de Mahler en 2014, le directeur musical de
l’orchestre symphonique de Lucerne, James
Gaffi gan revient au Festival avec cette autre
