While we are slowly waiting for the summer holidays, we take a trip to Italy in the company of Jean Sibelius – the great Finnish national composer – who wrote his popular and bright 2nd symphony far away from the Scandinavian cold. 

 We are guided through the beautiful landscape by the young conducting students from the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music, and the concert also features soloists from the Southern Danish Conservatory of Music.

Mens vi så småt venter på sommerferien, tager vi et smut til Italien i selskab med Jean Sibelius – den store finske nationalkomponist – der skrev sin populære og lyse 2. symfoni langt væk fra den skandinaviske kulde. 

 Vi bliver guidet gennem det smukke landskab af de unge dirigentstuderende fra Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium, og koncerten byder desuden på solister fra Syddansk Musikkonservatorium.
