Songs of christmas: Concert

The festive concert program for children and adults in the Atrium of the theater is composed of the music of traditional Christmas performances of various peoples and cultures. Spectators are waiting for a fascinating musical journey through the ages -  from medieval English ballads to high baroque masterpieces .

Canadian carols, French noels, Old Irish and Old Scottish Christmas carols, Greek Christmas carols, Slavic carols, Spanish and Portuguese Christmas songs will be woven into the magical Christmas story.

Opera soloists Evgenia Afanasyeva, Mikhail Basenko, the MAMT children's choir and the Baroque consort "Tempo Restauro" under the direction of Maria Maksimchuk will take part in the concert .

Праздничная концертная программа для детей и взрослых в Атриуме театра составлена из музыки традиционных рождественских представлений различных народов и культур. Зрителей ждет увлекательное музыкальное путешествие сквозь века – от средневековых английских баллад до шедевров высокого барокко.

В волшебную рождественскую историю будут вплетены канадские кэролы, французские ноэли, староирландские и старошотладские рождественские гимны, греческие рождественские хоралы, славянские колядки, испанские и португальские рождественские песни.

В концерте примут участие солисты оперы – Евгения Афанасьева, Михаил Басенко, детский хор МАМТ и Барочный консорт «Tempo Restauro»под руководством Марии Максимчук.
