For several seasons now, Les Arts Florissants have been offering their own interpretation of the work of one of the greatest Baroque composers: Johann Sebastian Bach.

For his first Asian tour since 2019, William Christie has chosen to conduct the St John Passion at the head of the choir and orchestra of Les Arts Florissants. He will be joined by a host of some of the most talented soloists on the Asian baroque scene, including several laureates of Le Jardin des Voix, Les Arts Florissants' international academy for young singers.

Alors qu'ils ne l'avaient longtemps abordé que de façon exceptionnelle, Les Arts Florissants apportent depuis plusieurs saisons leur propre lecture l'oeuvre de l'un des plus grands compositeurs baroques : Johann Sebastian Bach.

Pour sa première tournée asiatique depuis 2019, c'est ainsi la Passion selon Saint Jean que William Christie a choisi de diriger à la tête du choeur et de l'orchestre des Arts Florissants. Avec à ses côtés, une pléiade de solistes parmi les plus talentueux de la scène baroque acutelle et dont plusieurs sont issus du Jardin des Voix, l'académie internationale pour jeunes chanteurs des Arts Florissants.
