Statement by Zubin Mehta regarding the tour of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks in Spain.

Ivan Fischer replaces Zubin Mehta as music director of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra.

Maestro Zubin Mehta has been the forerunner of this tour and has wanted to send us a message to let us know that Iván Fischer, regular guest conductor of the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and therefore one of the most suitable conductors to replace Mehta on stage.
