Mo. Okko KAMU is finally with us since our original plan of invitation, that was May 2020. He is now aged 76, and it is after 17 years that he is with us again for the same “All Sibelius Program.” Mo. Kamu selected The Oceanides, Violin Concerto and Lemminkäinen Suite, all three pieces related to water, and for the violin concerto, one of the finest and young violinists, Mr. Fumiaki Miura.

コロナ禍で中止となった2020年5月定期演奏会の指揮者オッコ・カムがようやく登場です。パーヴォ・ベルグルンド亡きあと名実ともにフィンランドの巨匠であるカムは5月で76歳、2005年のオール・シベリウス・プログラム3公演以来17年ぶりの共演に、再び十八番のオールシベリウスプログラムを指揮します。年間テーマ「水」による曲として、幻想的な交響詩「大洋女神」を、さらに「トゥオネラの白鳥」を含む「レンミンカイネン組曲（四つの伝説曲）」も水辺を舞台にした物語による音楽です。ヴァイオリン協奏曲のソリストは、 新進気鋭の若手ヴァイオリニスト三浦文彰が務めます。
