Morricone most recently won an Oscar in February 2016 for Quentin Tarantino’s “The Hateful 8” but had already achieved immortal fame 50 years earlier with his music for “Once Upon a Time in the West”. Among his best-known works are his film scores for the spaghetti Western “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, for Roland Joffé’s drama “The Mission” and for Giuseppe Tornatore’s film “Cinema Paradiso”.

Under the baton of renowned conductor Marco Seco, the musicians and singers of the Milano Festival Opera bring the stirring music of Ennio Morricone to life.
