Strong-willed Southern housewife Margaret Johnson and her charming daughter Clara vacation in Italy, summer of 1956. Margaret hopes the magic and memories of Florence will sweep her off her feet, but it’s Clara and earnest inamorato Fabrizio who fall in love at first sight.
