In addition to the fact that you can rarely hear this opera live (unlike the real Verdi hits "La Traviata", "Rigoletto" or "Il trovatore"), it was staged in Cheboksary by the famous Moscow director, laureate of the Russian national theater award "Golden Mask" Lyudmila Naletova . A few years ago, the recognized "king of the romance" Oleg Pogudin and his instrumental ensemble visited the performance. After the tour in Yoshkar-Ola, the musicians had a free evening, and they decided to spend it in our theater. “I was sincerely surprised that one of the most difficult operas by Giuseppe Verdi, which you will not see in every major theater, is being staged in the capital of Chuvashia. Кроме того, что услышать эту оперу вживую можно довольно редко (в отличие от настоящих вердиевских хитов «Травиата», «Риголетто» или «Трубадур»), в Чебоксарах она поставлена известным московским режиссером, лауреатом Российской национальной театральной премии «Золотая маска» Людмилой Налетовой. Несколько лет назад на спектакле побывал признанный «король романса» Олег Погудин со своим инструментальным ансамблем. После гастролей в Йошкар-Оле у музыкантов выдался свободный вечер, и они решили провести его в нашем театре. «Я был искренне удивлен, что одна из сложнейших опер Джузеппе Верди, которую увидишь не в каждом крупном театре, идет в столице Чувашии. Меня приятно обрадовал профессиональный уровень ваших исполнителей. Редко, когда артисты выглядят в равной степени убедительно как в вокальном, так и в актерском плане. У ваших все получается!» – признался знаменитый певец.
