Join us on the red carpet for a dramatic start to the season with masked intrigue and a bittersweet love triangle in this Verdi masterpiece. The NCPA comes to Oman for the first time, with opera stars Elena Stikhina, Piotr Bezcala, LIAO Chaoyong, and Agnieszka Rehlis, directed by the world-renowned Hugo de Ana and the Orchestra of Teatro Lirico di Cagliari conducted by Giampaolo Bisanti. Directly translated to mean ‘The Masked Ball’, the tension and drama of the opera reaches a climax during a grand party at court, where the masks of disguise and pretence are finally dropped and the protagonists at last see each other in their true light.
