Since 1840, the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Choir (RLPC) has been central to the life of Liverpool Philharmonic.  Made up of a dedicated group of amateur singers from across the North West, the Choir’s achievements, repertoire and schedule are truly impressive.  Concerts at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall alongside the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra (RLPO) form the main part of the season, with the traditional annual performance of Handel’s Messiah and Liverpool Philharmonic’s Spirit of Christmas concerts scheduled alongside a wide variety of choral masterpieces, including Tippett’s A Child of our Time, Puccini’s Messe de Gloria and Mozart’s Requiem.  In addition to this, the Choir performs at a range of venues beyond the city of Liverpool, including the Royal Albert Hall, as well as recording alongside some of the finest soloists, orchestras and conductors.  With such a busy and varied schedule, no two seasons are the same for the RLPC.
