Directed by Brenna Corner, with Conductor Michele Gamba at the helm of the Washington Opera Orchestra, the fantastical tale features a fearsome love triangle, mistaken identity, the burning of an innocent Gypsy at the stake, and her daughter’s unyielding drive for vengeance.
