8Biography
Adam Ambarzumjan is an internationally award-winning clarinetist and since 2020 principal clarinetist of the Württemberg Philharmonic Orchestra. As a soloist and chamber musician he is a prize winner of international music competitions. In 2023 he won a special prize as a chamber music partner at the German Music Competition and was accepted as a scholarship holder in the German Music Competition concert promotion for the 2024/25 concert season. He received 1st prize in the Rising Stars Grand Prix – International Music Competition Berlin, 1st prize in the Tiziano Rossetti International Music Competition 2022, 2nd prize in the Anton Rubinstein International Competition for Woodwinds 2021, 2nd prize in the Odin International Music Competition 2022.
