View cast and crewA captivating and compelling artist with a warm, silvery soprano voice, Emily Rocha’s past and upcoming performances span Germany, Portugal, Austria, France, Switzerland, England, Romania, and North America, including New York City’s Carnegie Hall. She is a citizen of Canada, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Portugal. Emily will join the Canadian Opera Company Ensemble Studio for the 2024-2025 season. This summer, she will be a Vocal Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Festival 2024. Most recently, she was a District Winner in the Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition (Tulsa District), and the 2nd Prize Winner at COC Centre Stage: Ensemble Studio Competition 2023 at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts. 2023-2024 brings exciting debuts and performances: Gilda (
