Fernando Piqueras

Born in Mislata (Valencia) at a very early age, he began studying music theory and saxophone at the CIM in Mislata, then studied singing at the Torrent Professional Conservatory of Music and at the Valencia Higher Conservatory of Music. He perfects his technique with master classes with Alfredo Zanazzo, Carlos Chaussón, Ana Luisa Chova, Roberto Scandiuzzi, Antonio Lemmo, Jordi Savall, Wolfram Rieger, Celso Albelo and Cárlos Álvarez. Winner of the I National Zarzuela Competition of San Miguel de Salinas, it has been directed by maestros Nello Santi, Lorin Maazel, Zubin Mehta, Antoni Ros Marbà, Álvaro Albiach, Marco Zambelli, Yaron Traub, José Miguel Rodilla and Juan Luis Martinez, among others.
