Biography
An Alumni of The Juilliard School, Peruvian tenor, Javier Bernardo has a thriving singing career in Germany. Described by Chicago Now as "The lead with powerhouse singing”, Javier is currently singing with the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Germany. He has also debuted with several companies, including the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Chicago Symphony, Chicago Folks Operetta, Palm Beach Opera, Münster Theatre, Oldenburgisches Staatstheater among others. In addition to his operatic career, Javier has given recitals in renowned venues such as Alice Tully Hall and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, Symphony Center in Chicago, The American Church in Paris, and Teatro Británico, in his hometown Lima.
